To All-

  Thanks to Harvey, K5HV, for fabricating a custom Headset Mic/ Foot Switch adapter for the club station.

  We plan on utilizing the club radio, a Kenwood TS-570, as the swing station for Field Day to run SSB, CW and Digital.  I checked out the adapter this morning by stopping by the club station and connecting my Headset Mic and Foot Switch to the rig and made a contact to obtain a favorable audio report.  My particular Headset Mic combination is a Yamaha CM500 but I understand a number of club members utilize the Heil Headset Mic combination as well.  I had to reduce the mic gain,which is very simple on the TS-570, just press the mic button and adjust the gain.

  Anyway, Harvey took care of one of those many details required to insure the Field Day swing station will be operational.  Thanks Harvey.
