Hello all...
Late last week I inquired about the slotting of thin-walled  aluminum 
tubing, asking for
anyone with the necessary machinery to do same.
 
I got several suggestions, including questions from  Dale, K4DG regarding 
the type
of tubing, etc. 
 
To make a long story short, today, AC4CA and I drove over to  see Dale, 
K4DG and take 
advantage of his offer to slot my tubing with his  
metal-cutting-blade-equipped band saw.
 
Needless to say, it was like "cutting butter!"  Twenty  pieces of aluminum 
tubing slotted
in about 10 minutes!!  ;-)
 
Much quicker and much more accurate than a  hacksaw!!
 
After the short work...  Dale was kind enough to give  John and myself the 
guided tour
of his very neat "shack" and of course the  very impressive tower 
installation.
