[HCARC] Antennas for Field Day Next Year

To all-

  We were limited to one HF beam for Field Day this year and for the most part it was dedicated to CW operations.  Members have expressed an interest in having two HF beams next year, one for CW and the other for SSB.  I suggested we may want to take a survey of club members to determine if there’s a beam someone has, assuming it’s not in use and they will be willing to loan it to the club for Field Day operations next year. 

  Jeff Lavender asked me to pose this question via the reflector so if you have an HF beam we could use, please respond and let us know the brand and make.  The possibility of purchasing a beam for Field Day was raised but we could save the money if there’s a beam we could borrow.
