[HCARC] ARRL DX CW Contest

To All-

  I went down to the Red Cross Building today and found Classroom B is available tomorrow after 1 pm.  As a result, I’m going to be at the Red Cross Building from 1 pm am to 5 pm tomorrow, Saturday Feb. 18th to operate N1MM in the CW mode during the ARRL DX CW Contest.  http://www.arrl.org/arrl-dx

  This isn’t an official logging practice session since it’s CW, an all DX contest and it’ll be tough to compete against tall beam antennas and high power.  None the less, based upon the 11 confirmed DX QSLs received on LoTW thus far, we should be able to search and pounce stations in order to get some more confirmed countries on LoTW.

  Everyone is invited to come but it may be a bit challenging.  I’ve learned which VHF station in the shack is set on 146.98 and so you can contact me for entrance via the repeater or cell phone 281-844-8897.
