[HCARC] Tower Take Down

To All-

  I want to say thanks to Chuck Brainard, KA1PM, for supplying the expertise and hard work to take down a 95 ft. Rohn 25G tower.  The project started yesterday and finished up today.  Harvey also came by to salvage high quality components from 4 commercial Cushcraft yagi TV antennas that are ideal for vhf/ uhf ham antenna projects.  

  Chuck intends to take down a second Rohn 25G tower in the near future that’s also in the 95 ft. range.  If you haven’t seen such a feat you might want to observe how it’s accomplished.  The site for the second tower has limited access, so once the date is set up, I’ll send an email with details for those who may be interested in attending.
