You may wish to read three of my old websites about family preparedness.

The first is on natural disasters, the second is on Terrorism and the third
is about mobile home protection. These were written around 2003 and
updated in 2005. They were on AOL free websites until AOL decided to no longer
offer them.

And remember, BEING PREPARED
goes much further along than your being prepared to help others through
RACES, ARES or whatever. Preparedness actually begins at home. Make sure
your home and family are properly taken care of, so if you are a member of
a
group providing emergency response that the people you are helping are not
your own families.
