[HCARC] Wednesday Operating Session

To All-

  Terry Hipskind, KF5NHK, was interested in obtaining some PSK-31 HF operating time at the Club Station today so he joined the group for breakfast this morning and met me at the Red Cross Building for an Operating Session thereafter.  Terry was quick to pick up on the station layout, power distribution and antenna systems.  While it was a lot to absorb in a short period of time, he was contacting DX stations in France and Venezuela on 15 meters before our session was over.  While he called a South African station on 12 meters the band wasn’t steady enough for a solid QSO and that one got away.  We need France for our DXCC award so we’re hoping he sends in his log to LoTW.  Terry uploaded today’s log into LoTW.
