[HCARC] What Kind of Club?

I think it was John, K5XA, who said the choice "social versus service" was
too limiting in thinking about what we want our club to be. He couldn't have
been more correct, in my opinion. So while we're all thinking about what
kind of club we want let's try to be as inclusive as possible. Why can't the
club be social for everybody, be technical and educational for others, and
emergency communications and service-related to still others? The various
interests are certainly supported by enough people of each mind to make it
work. We all need to be accepting, patient, and open-minded when facets of
the club show that aren't particularly our own cup of tea.
