[HCARC] HCARC Field Day Volunteers

HCARC Members-

YOUR Field Day Committee, especially John AC4CA, has worked extremely hard,
and spent many hours in planning this year's Field Day. And might I remind
you, it was the MEMBERSHIP that voted to put on an HCARC Field Day this
year.

At the HCARC meeting last night - June 3, 2011 - sign-up sheets were
distributed for operating slots, set-up and tear down volunteers, and
equipment needs. The results were disappointing! NOBODY!

So it appears that the membership expects the Field Day Committee to not
only plan and organize the event, but to also be responsible for providing
all of the equipment, for set-up and tear-down, and for all of the
operating.

I would ask you all to consider: How Fair Is This?

Please give this some thought. It would be nice if some of you would contact
John AC4CA at johnh at beecreek.net and get your name on one or several of the
lists. This is YOUR Field Day!
