TNX Gale...

A 5-band quad has been in my plans. There was an article in the
NCJ by K0MD on his quad project, which I found very interesting.

I have built and used a few Quads over the years and always
was very pleased with the results...

CU tomorrow...

Great! They're not fancy but they'll allow you to play with building a
quad and I'll be glad to give you a hand as well. We can speak at the club
meeting on Thursday night as to when I can deliver them to you.

To All-

With the help of Bob Richie, K5YB, and my neighbor, Juan Leal, we just
lowered a 3 element 20 meter "Bird Yagi" wire beam. I'll be replacing it with
a 4 element Mosley TA-53-M rebuilt from parts given to me by Harvey, K5HV,
in the next couple of months.

If anyone in the club would like to build a 2 element HF quad on your 30
foot plus support, I'd be glad to contribute the simple spreader
attachments, 8 bamboo supports properly coated to resist UV along with my support.

Let me know if you are interested in taking on a HF antenna project.
