VE7BOX is Lorne Barber who is a member of the HBR reflector and I have pictures on the website of his HBR-13C receiver. Wonder how it found it's way to Orlando ? If you want to join the group send me a note because the reflector attracts a flood of spammers and it's difficult to tell; a real ham from someone who wants to sell you insurance......or whatever. 73 Kees K5BCQ

Does anyone know anything about the history of this receiver. See 
attached pix. I bought it at the Orlando Hamcation and the package 
included a QSL Card from VE7BOX. I know he has built one and am 
wondering if this was a second. I have been unable to find an email for 
him. Does anyone know anything?
