[HBR] BC453 IF transformers in HBR11

As luck would have it, a friend was nice enough to provide some 85 khz IF transformers so I can start building an HBR11.

I’ve read a couple of good references about testing and using these transformers but am not sure whether

 1) I need to use the BC453 input transformer for the first IF transformer, or whether I can used one of the tapped second or third BC453 transformers as the first IF transformer; and 

2) there is any difference between the second and third BC453 transformers that is material to their use in an HBR.

Questions arise because I have what appears to be one good 1st IF transformer and three good third IF transformers.

Any thoughts very much appreciated.
