[HBR] DCS 500?

In the original ARRL design the DCS-500 uses several Miller 6183 coils. It's
a TV coil, but has been repurposed in various ways for this project (the
idea was that the receiver could be built relatively cheaply using readily
available coils and crystals). Looking at the top of the chassis, check
whether the cans have an orange-bordered sticker with the "6183" number on
them.
Of course, the builder may have removed the stickers. Or, may have
substituted equivalent coils. But that's one place to start.
(I have been hoarding parts to build the DCS-500 for years and already have
the Miller coils.)
When I have time I will look at your under-chassis photo and see if I can
trace enough of the circuit to make a definite ID.

Subject: [HBR] DCS 500?
A friend scored me what looks to be a DCR500 at Dayton. Can anyone verify
that's what it is? I don't have it in my hands yet
