blockquote, div.yahoo_quoted { margin-left: 0 !important; border-left:1px #715FFA solid !important; padding-left:1ex !important; background-color:white !important; } Making coils?  What I want to do is to turn some cones I can put on my lathe, then hand turn the head to get well wound and good looking coils.  I suppose a hand crank set up would do as well. Or use a tray motor from a micro wave. I think those are geared to 6 rpm.

Greetings Gents
I have suspicions about this last post.
First of all, did it go to the list, or was the
list just mentioned in order to get my attention.
Anyone else get this spam phishing expedition???
Our list has been pretty quiet of late, as long as
I’m making this post, thought I’d ask if there actually
has been any actions taken on our subject.  I know
I cannot brag about my progress on my HBR 13C.
How is everyone else doing???
Someone posted a while back on their attempting
to make some coils.  How is that subject coming along
was there enough interest to get the subject off the ground?
I made my chassis a while back, but it does not
look like it should look for a project of this caliber, so
I am going to scrap it and buy one instead of bending
my own…  Looks WAY TOO amateurish. : )  Not
Amateur but amateur : )
