[HBR] HBR Build Advice?

I'm gearing up to build an HBR something over the winter after building a
W7ZOI receiver last winter.

Any recommendations for "bang for the buck" and "least difficult to source
or sub parts for" variety? I plan to use it mostly for general listening
on SSB and some cw with a homebrew transmitter.

I've secured 85 khs IF transformers from an old Q5er, and a slightly worn
but solid Eddy 898 dial, and am thinking the HBR13 might be the way to go.

I'm thinking I can probably find something suitable to use for the coil
forms and the 1600-1700 khz IF transformers, and that the main ganged cap is
probably the most difficult thing left to find?

But eagerly solicit any advice about what path might be the one of least
resistance...or any other hard to find parts I should be looking harder for
before winter.

Thanks, Scott ka9p
