[HBR] Request for assistance

Hello gentlemen:


I was at a hamfest this morning and a homebrew receiver followed me home. Actually, it was too good a deal to pass up and I've always had a soft place in my heart for that big Eddystone slide rule dial. It seems fairly well constructed, but before I make any attempts to fire it up, I could use some help identifying it. I've sketched out the layout and front panel.
