(I don't know the name of the original builder; the previous owner
didn't have any info either).
A little shabby but in good shape mechanically and electrically. The
previous owner had thoughtfully brought it up slowly on a Variac.
There is one coil set only: for 20m.
Apart from a dead 12AU7, everything works. Controls/switches are
somewhat scratchy, of course. The receiver is doing pretty well listening
to contest stations. Works much better with a decent antenna than with
a few feet of wire in my electrically noisy shack environment.
I have some plans for 'proper' coils for other bands. In the meantime,
I have some 5-pin-base brown plug-in Hammarlund coils, will see if I
can make a 40m set that is approximately useable.
