[HBR] Capacitor quality

Hello All,

 

There is a really informative thread going on now over on the Hallicrafters
list (which is also on qth.net like HBR). It's by Jim Liles K9AXN and titled
"Black Beauty capacitors beware". Look under March 2015. Jim has been around
as long as I have, and that's a looong time!

 

I'm sure that we all know about Black Beauties, and if Jim's thread were
only about them, I wouldn't mention it. But he has a bunch of critical
things to say about ceramic capacitors, of which I have a large stock! And
some nice things to say about film and paper capacitors!
