That's what I like about them too, but I got almost no encouragement on the
regenrx list for making a viable "communications receiver" that was a regen.


And, I tried to whip up some enthusiasm for figuring out how the RAL did it,
remember?Even Mr. Regen himself---Dave Newkirk---said that you just have to
put up with the regen's poor strong adjacent channel signal handling
performance.

Come up with a regen design with the selectivity and strong signal handling
ability of a superhet, and I'll build it. By the way, I think that can be
done, but it will have to be by somebody that knows what he's doing---that
leaves me out!
