[HBR] Coil Q and the Boonton 260

Heck, I am a test equipment junkie... that's probably why I have five HP
141T spectrum
analyzers in the shop! LOL!  Actually, two are in for repair for another
ham.

Q's above 500 are hard to come by, unless you start using ferrite cores to
minimize resistive
loses.  Beyond that it is fun to try various dielectric material for the
coil forms.

But, heck, if you want to buy a piece of HP test gear for your Christmas
present, I would be all
for it!  I have two of the QM-1 Heathkit units, and a Boonton 190 VHF Q
Meter that I have
restored. I rarely use them, but I feel warm and fuzzy when I look at them!

BTW, the AADE LCR meter is a great tool!  I would lost without mine.
