Never thought of the roof alunininimun : )
good idea!!!
Have an interesting cabinet problem to deal with.
Last summer I took my cabinet outside and cleaned
it up 'real good' and after things looked great, I did some
experimenting with the hammer tone type paint and
never finnished it up, so I went out to the trailer last night
to bring the project down into the basement to work on it,
and after inspection, feel the whole thing needs reworking,
not just sprucing up. I see rust here and there, and to
top it off, the hammer tone (black) has little spots in/on
it like little mold spots. Looks bad, so am going to remove
all the paint too. Looked good last summer, but terrible
today : ( Wonder what I did wrong??? possibbly the cabinet
was not as dry as I thought it to be or improper preperations???
Wonder what it would cost to take it to an auto body shop
and have them chemically strip it??? Probabbly a lot more
then I want to spring for.
Any ideas what I did wrong? Glad I caught this early, not
a year or two down the road.
