I have found that I can buy very cheap sheet metal from small material
suppliers here in town for extremly good prices. I was amazed how
inexpensive it can be at least 25% of the Big Box stores and you can get all
kinds of thincknesses and quality...I get mine from a place called Marion
Iron works which is basically a scrap yard here in town and they will cut it
for me as well....I have had them make "U" shaped channels for me so I can
make my own chassis up...
