[HBR] Heath HR10B

Hi Guys

I recall seeing some information on coverting old HR10-B's to a more of a
HBR. These were significant mods with removing the bandswitchs and replacing
them with plug in coils along with other midifications. I saw this some
years ago and tried to buy a HR10 at a reasonable  price back then but was
frustrated since most were priced in the 10.00 range.  Well this summers
hamfest tour got me 2 HR10's at a  very good price that look like good
candidates for mod or conversion.

So of course now I have forgotten who did these mods and if there was any
kind of schematics etc and information on how to do the mods.  There was a
considerable amount of mechanical and sheet metal work involved too.


Anyone remmeber this  and does anyone know where to point me??
