[HBR] off topic. SP 600

I realize this is not directly HBR related and for this I apologize. 

I am rebuilding a Hammarlund SP600 receiver.  I am doing modifications as
described by Doug Blakeslee and documented in the August 1970 issue of QST.

I am specifically having some issues with the "S" meter and the AVC
circuitry. I am hoping someone on this list has had some experience with
this old gem, possibly  having done the mods.

and may be able to offer some guidance. For this I would be grateful.

There may somewhere  be a Hammarlund list but so far I have not found it.
