I have never seen it written anywhere and most of us are smart enough do not do something stupid. But it is a very good idea to be sure the B plus is in standby when you change the mixer coil. The mixer coil has B plus going to the RF tube and you might get a nice tingle if the B plus isn't off. Kurt W6PH
