Hi Bill,

Mine are the ones from the ARC5 low frequency receiver R-23/BC453. The
three cans wrapped around two IF stages can give an IF passband narrower
than 2 kc. They can be setup for nice SSB operation or narrower for CW
operation. I saw one design where a ham used four cans instead of three
for a CW receiver.

The three cans are different internally. One is between the mixer, one
is interstage between IF amps, and the last is wired for the diode
detector/output. Do you have the information about which one is which? I
van email you a couple of PDF documents that contain that information
and more. I am also a user of an R-23 and a BC-453.

73,

Bill KU8H
