[HBR] Reading through the W6TC material again : )

Greetings Gang

I printed out the book on building the HBR and it's history
about a year ago when I started looking for some of the parts.
Got the chassis, cabinet, faceplate, 898 dial, that three gang cap
and a few used tubes and sockets collected so far, so decided
to re-read the book and anything else I can find before
I drill that first hole.

Also bought a small artist's drawing book to detail sections
and my own build history, in order to finalize and or visualize
the radio's progress and or trouble shooting. Besides taking
a bunch of notes during this re-read. Because of all the efforts
others have gone through, and some of their troubles, I want
to take a bunch of notes to hopefully avoid those same pitfalls.

One thing we have going for us here is the internet and groups
such as ours... : ) Thanks for being there guys : ) Am now
thinking as I posted the other day of sending off for a few new parts
too, such as the tube sockets, caps and such, might eliminate a
few headaches a little down the road, rather then using 40 to 50
year old intermittent sockets and the like.

Thanks for all the help so far, and I'n sure we will bend an ear or two
during the building, as a lot of this is probably over my head, only
know a smidgen here and there : )
