[HBR] Taming 6EH7 IF strip?

Have you considered reversing the input or output leads on one of the  IF 
transformers in the strip.  There has 
  to be some path from the output getting back in the input  causing the 
oscillation.  Are the filament wires 
  twisted along their path or have bypass caps to ground on the  lines.  
Just a thought.
