[HBR] Need R-23/BC453 parts for HBR project

Bill I don't know if you have seen my pages on the 
IF coils,
please note the use of the mini banana plugs for 
the coil connections if
you can not find the BC-453 sockets or the sockets 
get  damaged when removed
which is usually the case.

Hi,

I have started my HBR project. I wish to use the 
I.F. cans and BFO coil
from an R-23 or BC-453 in the second I.F. I have 
two of those receivers
(one each) but both of them work and so they are 
not donor candidates.
Do any of you happen to have a set of those cans 
(and sockets) or the
carcass of one of those receivers with the cans 
(and sockets) intact
(and willing to say goodbye)? I can get by without 
the sockets but I
would prefer to use sockets, too.

Please reply off list to let me know what you have 
and how much you want
for them. I have a handful of military surplus 
tubes with JAN, USN, USA,
and VT- part numbers as trading material to help 
sweeten a possible
deal.
