Hello Scott:
Hope someone comes through with the parts you desire.
If not, there is some light at the end of the tunnel within the next month
or so.
I plan to launch on eBay a HBR-13C parts package that will include all the
Miller coils you mentioned, the 1710kHz and 3500kHz crystals, a Miller 2102
variable capacitor, all the tubes, resistors, capacitors, controls,
transformers, knobs, tube sockets, jacks, etc. The package will also include
an unused lift lid cabinet, main and sub chassis and the coveted 898
Eddystone dial. The package will not have the plug-in coil components. It
should be an excellent start for someone desiring to build the HBR-13C from
scratch.
The launch date for this package will be sometime in the first part of
April. I am choosing to put it on eBay so everybody who is interested in
making the HBR-13C will have a fair and equal chance at obtaining the
package of parts.
In the meantime, I will be listing a pair of NIB Miller #1731 1610kHz
coupling coils on eBay. These coils were used in some of the earlier
versions of the HBR. I understand that Miller manufactured these coils
specifically for the HBR.
So if you do not have any luck obtaining the parts right now, you may want
to watch eBay the first part of April.
