Purposely I did not write HBR because I am not sure what the builder had in mind, But what I have to offer from the HBR era is the following:

 

A Bud Cabinet - with louvers and top lid. 15"W; 9"H; 11"D.

 

Mounted in the front panel is the rectangular Eddystone 898 Dial - the dial plate has not been marked up, the trim has a mark - see photo.  The mechanism needs cleaning up.  

 

The aluminum chassis with the front panel mounted, fits the Cabinet.

 

Mounted in the chassis are eight tube sockets, a five gang ceramic switch, a two-gang ceramic switch, misc small components.  See photo.

 

I do not know what the intent was, but someone interested in building an HBR receiver would have the classic cabinet, chassis and the outstanding, classic Eddystone 898 Dial for a running start.

 

Please make offers, shipping from Ithaca, NY will be the responsibility of the buyer.  I will package it well and put it into the USPS, FedEx or whatever your choice.  It weighs about 20 pounds.
