I have used the 6JH8 family with success in a multiband receiver with
10.7MHz
IF. The conversion transconductance on 7MHz (17.7MHz LO) was pretty close
to 0.25gm.
Can also report Andy G4OEP's results using the same beam deflection tube in
20m receiver.
The only reasons I can think of for a reported loss are:
- 7360 is somehow very different from the other beam deflection tubes
(seems unlikely)
- inadequate LO voltage swing was applied (I am using 10v peak or better)
