 Hello list,

I found a three gang tuning cap at Dayton that should work quite nicely in an HBR.

This is not the Miller cap that Ted Crosby used. It is three ganged straight line capacitance, so it will result in a linear dial scale, rather than the off kilter scale that results from the Miller caps. I haven't measured it, but it is marked 5-25 pF. If that's accurate, it will be just right. It is also quite a bit smaller that the Miller 1461, so will be a nice fit for smaller chassis.

As you guys probably know, my HBR-16 is finished and so I don't need this cap. But I couldn't pass it up since is seemed perfect for a list member's HBR project. So, if anyone on this list is actively collecting parts for an HBR and would like this cap, drop me a line and I'll be glad to give it to you.
