[HBR] Change of IF frequency?

Hello to all:
I have a concern regarding the IF frequency of the HBR as shown in the BIll
Orr, W6SAI handbook: the current 1st IF frequency is at 1610 kcs, just near
the edge of the AM broadcast band.  I am interested in changing it to 1700
kcs to avoid interference.  Are there any special caveats I should note when
I do this other than changing the usual accompanying oscillators to
accomodate the change? Thanks. Cal, N6KYR/4
