Wonder if anyone has the Bill Orr handbook from Œ62 (I think) in which there
was a homebrew Tx project billed as being a good companion to the HBR-16?
This was referenced in one of Kees Talon¹s web pages/CD. And if you have
that year of the handbook, I would love to get a copy of those pages for the
Tx project (and of course pay for the copies and mailing.)

While I¹m here, I wanted to mention that I am so completely thrilled and
impressed with the CD-ROM book ³Recollections of a Radio Receiver² from Jay
Helms, W6HHT. For the last 4-5 months, I¹ve been in the process of
excitedly getting my parts together for constructing an HBR-16, and have
been carefully studying all the good information on the K5BCQ website and
CD-ROM. So this this latest goldmine of info from Jay is a fabulous
addition to the history and technology background for the project if you
haven¹t yet ordered the CD from Jay, you¹re missing out on a great thing.

As an FYI, I¹ve recently acquired a brand new Eddystone 898 dial, an
old-but-unused 75A-4 cabinet (plus a blank front panel!), and a set of 75A-4
knobs. When the cabinet is sand blasted and finished with characteristic
black epoxy paint, I¹m expecting my HBR-16 to be looking pretty nice.
Currently in the early stages of getting the mechanical parts together on
the two internal chassis.

Thanks in advance if you have that transmitter article in the Orr handbook.
