[HBR] Update on my 262 to 100 kHz K-Tran IF experience

Hello all,

I've included a link of some photo's that show how I
had melted on of my
K-Tran 262 kHz IF transformers by trying to move
the coil by melting the
wax w/heat.

Luckily, I was at a
swapfest last weekend.

Someone had some K-Tran parts on their
bench, sans transformer housing.

"Take 'em if you want
'em."  I was told.  Well, I was very lucky as the new
parts were perfect replacements for the melted ones.

Meanwhile, I had removed the coil from the poly assembly and was able
to melt the wax by setting my soldering pencil to 175 degrees F.
