1700 kcs is the only IF -- I'm using a 1700 kcs half lattice crystal
filter right after the mixer.  So it's not 100% authentic HBR.

I plan to have the LO tune 3500-3700.  Should work ... shouldn't it?
It's not ideal because extremely strong 80M signals could cause
spurious responses, but these receivers are a compromise design, and
with high Q coils, I don't think it'll be a problem.
