Boy, this forum is getting very lively since that Feb QST article submitted
by Jay Helms, W6HHT. Jay is in the final stages of putting together the HBR
Adventure book in a CD PDF format with a lot of information that hasn't
heretofore seen the light of day. If anyone has any letters or other correspondence
from Ted, I am sure that he would appreciate receiving it and possibly using it
in his book with appropriate credit.
I don't have his e-mail address handy but I could find it if anyone is
interested. E-mail me at w6ph at aol.
I also want to plug Kees' CD of HBR notes. It has a lot of stuff of interest
to the prospective HBR builder.
One more item of interest is the ARRL QST archives that are now available to
members. The files are in PDF format and can be printed very easily. This
will make it easy to get the original W6TC QST articles.
Not Ted Crosby related, but I really appreciate Walt Hutchens' (KJ4KV)
narratives on his problems and solutions in his own HBR. You don't get this in
textbooks.
