If you have an Eddystone 898 and the room, use it, no question.
If you have an Eddystone circular dial, it's much better than the National dials because of the Ball Brother's vernier drive. If you have a National ACN or ICN circular dial replace the mechanism with a Ball Brothers vernier drive (used on all the Heathkits and others). You will be amazed at how much smoother the tuning is and it's a slightly better ratio, Instructions in the Hints and Kinks section.
