Well, if you do find one that is beyond repair, seriously consider using the
50 kHz strip as it was designed. That will give you adjustable IF bandwidth
and other features for the cost of the SX-101 carcass. There is nothing
sacred about keeping the original 100kHz or 85kHz configurations other than
historical accuracy.
