    It is, in fact, a V/I converter.  The relay drops in and out when it has
sufficient current through the coil.  The triode does not switch from fully
"off" to fully "on" with that much resistance in the cathode.

    Is it really necessary for you to apply your need to dominate every
discussion here by scrutinizing each and every part?
