[HBR] RSGB Keyer: FINALE!

Hi All,

MANY THANKS to the many wonderful words of support, & kind offers of help
extended my way, in the matter of my "de-bugging" (no pun intended!) the
RSGB single 12AT7 keyer...

I've decided to SCRAP the project, & will dismantle the flickr.com picture
site later to-day.

The ratio pot setting on my completed version here makes absolutely no sense
to me: I can grasp the theory well enough --- the adjustment of the wiper
either way generates a dash, or a dot --- but in my keyer, the thing will
ONLY work whenever the wiper is set at one, or the other, extreme end of
wiper travel...and even then, the length of the generated characters are
exactly the same.

Do this while trying to send a dash, and the thing won't "activate" when
attempting to send a dot --- rotate the wiper of the ratio pot to the other
extreme, and now the dash generation ceases, and the dot characters are the
same length as the previous "dashes"!

It's hopeless, and hardly worthwhile banging my head against the wall
over...heck, my 1929-style 12-tube superheterodyne receiver was a snap to
get going properly, compared to this single-tube little monstrosity...! Hi
Hi.

Thanks again to all, & my vy
