Good Morning All,
Well, the rainy weather here the other day FINALLY afforded me a much-needed
reprieve from the Spring yard work, so I retreated promptly into my
"workshop" for some four hours, and finished construction of the 12AT7 RSGB
keyer enclosure...!
The results, to date, may be seen by clicking onto:

Now I'll have to commence drilling holes for the tube socket, pots,
transformers, etc. etc. When THAT'S completed, the "works" will enter the
paint shop facilities here (yeah, right --- an inverted cardboard box in my
back yard, on a windless warm day!), and when completely dry, the actual
parts installation / soldering can begin...
Homebrewing is a LOT like painting a room: 90% preparation, & only 10%
application.
It's ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL --- even with as simple a project as this one ---
to be sure that one knows, IN ADVANCE, where each & every part, screw hole,
etc. etc. etc. must go, BEFORE doing anything else...that's why I've already
sketched the actual lay-out of each part on a piece of paper as a guide for
me in every step. Even the orientation of the tube socket is important,
vis-a-vis the socket screws...
Best to find out "now", rather than "...later".
Stay tuned (if you're at all interested, that is!) for more, as I progress
along with this thing...
