Jay,
There is a guy on the AMECO AC-1 Yahoogroups reflector who is producing the clear coil forms with 5 pins and has superb craftsmanship abilities. He has some info on the lead page to the AMECO AC-1 on Yahoo Groups (I make the decals available but it's no HBR level of complexity). They are the best 5 pin coil reproductions I've seen. If you want production brown ones, John (member of HBR group) will probably be sending you a note. His prices are very reasonable. I've heard Ocean State has them but the quality was bad from a loose pins standpoint (they may have improved). I believe I've heard about the loose pins from Antique Electronic Supply too and they were returned by the buyer ...... but they said "it will be fixed". Then there are some people who still have some originals set aside and offer them up here or on eBay.

Has anyone had experience purchasing/using 5 pin coil forms
www.tubesandmore part number P-C211 dimension 2 5/16 in H x 1 1/4 in
Diam "standard" 5-pin base @ $6.95 each? From the catalog sheet they
look like the Amphenol 4-5P coil forms many of us used with our HBRs
way-back-when (except for the price, of course; I paid 23cents each for
the Amphenol forms in 1966! I have asked tubesandmore for a better
description of the coil form material; their catalog says only "brown
plastic".
