[HBR] Oxidized socket terminals

I've never had this problem - where are the sockets from? All the ones I have 
are tinned, so they take solder easily.

What I *have* found is that NOS parts may need a bit more heat to get through 
the oxidation. A real soldering iron (100W) is often a help. Small 
solid-state irons just don't cut it.
