So what's your point John? I've had girl friends that didn't last as long! 
The reality is I've been wanting the Eton E1 for some time and I needed the 
money to get it. I would have liked to had my cake and eat it too but that's 
not reality and something had to go and I'm not a Ham so a ham band only 
radio isn't as appealing as a general coverage rig. I bought it because it 
was very interesting and I wanted to see first hand what a HBR looked like 
and I did and it was amazing. I'm going to give you the benefit of a doubt 
but it sure sounds like your trying to put me in a bad light.
