This is sort-of on topic because I'm mostly interested in 50's/60's
era QST's that would also have HBR-era projects in them, so I'm asking
here:
Has anyone bought the 5-years-of-QST-on-CD-ROM sets from the ARRL? Is
there any way of viewing it on Linux? Any way of printing schematics
etc. from the articles?
I'm tempted to be buy several of the sets, at which point I guess I could
buy a cheap low-end Windows-based CD just for reading them. I'd
probably end up being interested in 40 years or so of 'em (1940 through
1980 roughly) at which point the PC would be cheaper than the CD's...
Are the schematics, pictures, and ads reproduced accurately enough on the
CD-ROM's for them to be usable?
Tim.
