Dan,
Thank you for taking the time to send me all of the very good
information and ideas. The hang AGC circuit in the 67./68 handbook is
something that I will take a close look at. I'm going to look on Ebay
today and see if someone is selling the 67/68 handbook. Also check the
local librarys, they carry several old handbooks, not sure about the 67/68.
I'm looked at Captain Lee product detector, bought a Jan Skirrow, don't
think much of it. What I think is really cool is the military converters
such as the CV-591. I looked at the schematic for it and want to build
something similar to it.
I'm looking for a 19 inch rack mount cabinet. I plan to mount My R-390A,
R-392 etc in a rack. I would like to build a period Product Detector. I
know that with time, I could find a military one on Ebay, but would
rather build one myself, now that I have the time. I have enjoyed home
brewing for quite a while.
