Tim,
I looked in my junkbox and found some IF cans. stamped on the side is 7267
85KC.
I got 9 of 'em.
What you got to trade ?
I am looking for a BC221 parts unit for the tuning mechanism.
Or coin of the realm is OK. Does $10 each sound reasonable ?
Kindest regards,
Dave

OK, I'm not exactly building a "true HBR" but I think I am at least
following in the spirit of assembling from what I can find.
But what I am not having any luck finding is 2nd IF transformers in the
50-100kHz range. While my junkbox did have some transformers good for
a 1650kHz first IF I'm not so lucky for the lower frequency stuff.
And, to complicate matters, I am looking to go full-blown on the
IF strip and will need more than one. Two or three similar units
would be a good start.
Last time I made this plea I got several responses but of course
do not have those E-mails anymore. If you've got something appropriate,
new or used or still inside a BC-453, let me know what you've got and
a price (or what you may be interested in trading for).
