Only problems with the PW and NPW drives are the cost and the fact that they
cover the range in only 10 revolutions. (20:1 reduction, but the cap only
turns one half revolution)
The ARC-5 tx and BC-221/LM caps have 100:1 reduction - 50:1 to cover the
half-revolution.
As for sliderule dials, DO NOT underestimate
